The NOCâs website now includes a special feature, the Sports Information Centre, which, while still under construction, serves to introduce many of our sports enthusiasts to a wealth of information on an ever-increasing range of issues.
Earlier this week the NOCâs website introduced yet another special feature. Persons accessing our website at www.svgnoc.org can now view the interviews conducted by the National Olympic Academy with some of the leading sports personalities in St Vincent and the Grenadines. The videos that are now on the website include interviews with Orde Ballantyne, who was among the membership of the first national team to an Olympic Games, Victor Peters (Seoul, South Korea – 1988), who participated in the 1966 Commonwealth Games in Jamaica, Gloria Ballantyne, the longest serving President of the Netball Association, and F.O. Mason, one of the sports stalwarts who represented this country in Football and Cricket and who played and served as an administrator in several national sporting organisations.
