Lucky J.G. and Sons shopper wins washer

Elizabeth Ashton of Lomwans Hill is the lucky winner of an 18 pound – seven cycle Whirlpool washing machine, compliments J.G. and Sons. The machine was a part of a three-month promotion held by the company. Ashton was the first winner of three prizes.

Ashton, a seamstress and employee of the Finishing and Furnishing, said it felt good winning the appliance. She also said it came at an appropriate time, since she will be moving into a new home.

“I’ll have a new machine to take with me,” she said.
