Cody Ince wins 7-year BUNPAN scholarship
The Marriaqua United Friendly Societyâs (BUNPAN) scholarship award for 2007 has been won by Cody Ince, a former pupil of the Georgetown Government School. Cody, who placed 39th overall in the Common Entrance Exam, is the son of Bernadette Pompey and Basil Ince.{{more}}
The award is valued $1,050 per annum, and will assist Codyâs parents in meeting his educational expenses. The scholarship award will continue for seven years, providing Cody maintains proper conduct and academic achievement.
Forty-eight other pupils, 30 girls and 18 boys, received $50 each towards their school expenses, as they prepare for the start of secondary education. These pupils were all successful at the Common Entrance Examination and had applied for the main scholarship award, which was won by top performer Cody Ince.
