Guest Speaker Celoy Nichols in her âPep talkâ commended the children for their participation in the programme and encouraged parents to make use of the opportunities for their children to interact with others. She also encouraged parents to be always there for their children.
During the six weeks of the programme, the children were engaged in a number of activities, including arts and crafts, dance, music, language and nutrition activities. Each week, the children visited various interesting sites/places on the island. They also had sessions at the Venezuelan Institute where they learnt about the culture. Weekly Guest Speakers who spoke on aspects of the theme came from the Ministries of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Horticultural Society.
