Top fashion show set for September 2

The premier fashion event in St.Vincent and the Grenadines, Fashion Caribbean 2007, will be held on Sunday, the 2nd of September, 2007 at the Cruise Ship Terminal.{{more}}

This year the show will feature approximately 13 designers, among them is 20 year old designer, Shaunelle Racine Ramesar who will feature her designs at Fashion Caribbean for the first time. Shaunelle is the daughter of Vincentian Delphine Ramesar of Montrose. She currently resides in Trinidad and Tobago where she is pursuing a BA degree in Musical Arts at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine campus.

In June 2005, Ramesar, still an A Level student, established SDesigns, which is an Art and Craft Design business. Simply unique and original are the words used to explain the concept of SDesigns which speaks to the fusion of Shaunelle’s simple personality with the unique and original portrayals of her ideas. Her designs are a true representation of her belief that you do not have to be extravagant to stand out but by being simple one can have the same or an even greater impact. Self taught in most areas of art and craft, she favours applying designs to fabrics, hence this designer’s common use of plain materials.

Fashion Caribbean patrons can look forward to a fresh showing from Shaunelle as SDesigns prides itself on maintaining a style with originality, creativity and simplicity geared towards all age groups while including each individual’s preferences in the creative process.The Image Modelling Agency welcomes this young designer to the Fashion Caribbean 2007 roster.
