Taiwan Ambassador presents NSPD with computer, cheque

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the National Society of Persons with Disabilities (NSPD), Taiwanese Ambassador Jack Cheng participated in the Open Day of the Society on June 22.{{more}}

Understanding that the Society’s computer room is short of equipment, the Ambassador handed over one ACER computer with a 19” flat-screen monitor to help with the training programmes organized by the Society. Minister Mike Browne was present to witness the handing-over.

Ambassador Cheng was also invited to attend the dinner held at the Prime Minister’s Residence on June 29 in commemoration of the Society’s 20th anniversary. Ambassador Cheng handed over $1,000 to support the efforts made by the Society.
