CEO: Cable & Wireless committed to Carnival
Chief Executive Officer of Cable & Wireless Foster Hannaway, has declared his companyâs commitment to the culture of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, which he said is showed by their involvement in Vincy Mas.{{more}}
Hannaway speaking at the companyâs press conference last week Tuesday, revealed his company has been involved in the culture for years, and this year is keeping the spirit alive by being a major sponsor for the festival.
He made mention of Nelicia Thomas, sponsored by bMobile, who placed first runner up in the Miss SVG pageant.
The company has also partnered with a number of local artistes called the Vincy Soca Dans : DJ Taurus, Fireman Hooper, Luta and Tabia.
The bMobile band was on the road during the Monday afternoon jump up with a t-shirt band called Shock and Awe, which featured the Vincy Soca Dans.
Hannaway reiterated his companyâs commitment to carnival, and stated that they will be involved in its development for years to come. (JJ)
