Cable & Wireless prices go down lower
A high spirited Vice President of Marketing for Cable and Wireless on Tuesday announced his company has reduced their rates on mobile services.
According to Fitz Huggins, the already low rates for their bMobile subscribers have been further reduced, in some instances up to 60% lower than, or matched with their competitorsâ lowest rates.{{more}}
As of July 1st, domestic peak rates have been reduced from 70 cents to 55 cents, mobile to fixed lines from 80 cents to 60 cents and mobile to third party (competitor) from 85 cents to 80 cents.
Post paid customers also have an extra incentive; they will pay nothing on weekends, from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.
Huggins described the reduced rates as âfantastic newsâ for customers, who according to him have been requesting lower rates.
He says that the reduction of rates at a time when other prices are going up would be motivation for persons to switch to bMobile in an effort to save money.
Huggins noted that these reductions are permanent and not promotions.
He also hinted at a number of other promotions that are coming soon, including a new computer and internet package and many others.(JJ)
