Hard work pays off for Tesheira

David Tesheira, son of Elma Graham of Cane End, Mesopotamia and Charles Tesheira of Brooklyn, New York, graduated from the prestigious John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland on May 17, 2007.{{more}}

Tesheira received his primary education from Marriaqua and Cane End Government Schools, and his secondary education from the Emmanuel High School in Mesopotamia. He is a former teacher at the Emmanuel High School, a former police officer in the Antigua, and the British Virgin Islands’ Constabularies, and he is also a veteran of the United States Army.

David had gained his A.A. Degree from Central Texas College, B.S. from the University of Maryland, and was very fortunate to attend the John Hopkins University School of Education – Division of Public Safety Leadership with top public safety officials from throughout the U.S. He majored and gained a M.S. in Management, and a diploma in Police Executive Leadership.

Tesheira was recently appointed as Special Assistant to the Assistant Commissioner of the East Region – Maryland State Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. He hopes to continue his education and believes with God’s help, hard work and dedication can pay off.
