The hilarious play which was written and directed by Cecil “Blazer” Williams would also be staged on Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10 at the same venue.

Williams said the production is set in a woodshop in the 1970s and numerous social issues such as relationships, politics and race would be discussed in a humorous way.

The director also pointed out that the play is centred around a character named “Star” and several of the clients he “services” among other things.

Some of the veteran actors and actresses in the production include David “Darkie” Williams, Brian “Zello” Alexander, Anita Ralph, Semona Moses and Lennox “Tux” Haynes.

The play which will run for over one hour, has eight scenes and two acts.

Williams said that NAM, which is celebrating its 34th anniversary, always tries to put on a summer production since it knows that it has a large following.

He announced that in July several members living overseas would be returning for a gala anniversary reunion.
