The Nurses and patients in Maternity B at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital are now more comfortable thanks to a facelift of the ward by CLICO General.{{more}}
The nurseâs room was given a significant upgrade with a new dining room set, microwave, carpet, blinds and curtains.
Also teaming up with CLICO was Courts St Vincent Limited, who donated a television set.
Branch Manager of CLICO General, Yvonne Williams said that Departmental Sister of Maternity B, Faustina Ballantyne made a call for some assistance and they quickly answered her call.
Williams said that they were extremely happy to help the hospital in their time of need. âWe are really happy when we, CLICO can help in the community,â said Williams.
Sister Ballantyne expressed her heartfelt gratitude to CLICO and Courts for their meaningful contributions. She said that the ward now feels like a place of dwelling for all. âI am happy and relived that patients and nurses have a more comfortable environment so they can at least feel as if they are home,â Ballantyne said.
