âNow that you have set a standard we want to take it to the optimum,â said Cuffy, adding that he is hoping to have an executive that will strive for professionalism, unity and commitment.
Outgoing President, Pearl McMaster, said VINSA âhas proven itselfâ during the academic year.
She used the opportunity to challenge the new executive to maintain the standards that the outgoing executive had set. She also challenged the students attending the ceremony to take the issue of security seriously after a series of robberies in and outside the gates of the campus.
âWe have confidence that this executive will step up to the challenge of taking VINSA forward come next semester. I ask for those students who will be coming back to Mona to give your undivided support to this new executive. Remember teamwork is very important!â said McMaster.
