SIF funding skills training
Phase Two of the National Society of Persons with disAbilities Skills Training Programme has been funded by the SVG Social Investment Fund, and not from funds being raised through the upcoming walkathon as reported in last week’s edition of the Searchlight.
The walkathon, which is being held on March 30, will instead help to raise money for the Education Programme and also aims to help raise awareness for persons living with disabilities.{{more}}

Persons wishing to make a contribution can do so when members of the society make their way through the streets for the walkathon.
The Blind Awareness Month in primary schools to be held in May, is being organized by the National Society of and for the Blind.
