The three-race series for 30 or more locally built double-enders from Bequia and other Grenadine islands continues to be one of the highlights of the Regatta. Huge crowds of enthusiastic supporters and spectators gather at every available vantage point to see the participants demonstrate their legendary skill and seamanship. All signs this year are that there will be a bumper turnout, with the Bequia fleet being joined by boats coming up from Canouan, Mayreau and Carriacou.
