SVG awarded Most Improved Destination
St. Vincent and the Grenadines was awarded the Most Improved Destination at the annual Sea Trade Cruise Shipping Convention held in Miami this week. The certificate was presented to Director of Tourism, Vida Bernard.
Administrative Officer, Raquel Hamlet as well as a team of Private and Public Sector Officials also represented St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the 23rd annual Sea Trade Cruise Shipping Convention from 12th-15th March 2007.{{more}} Celia Ross, Sales representative at the SVG New York Tourist Office was also present at the Convention. The Convention was held in Miami at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
In addition to the international exhibition of products and services, topics such as âSafety and Securityâ, âNew Technologiesâ, âDestinationsâ, and âCrewing and Environmental Practicesâ were covered in in-depth seminars during the convention.
