A secular programme will be held on Saturday 10th at Solidarity House commencing at 7:30 p.m., while a religious concert will take place on Sunday 11th February at James Street Methodist Church in Bridgetown at 4:00 p.m.{{more}}

Prescod was recently awarded the O.B.E in the Queen’s New Year Honours List for distinguished service to Music and Education. He formed the Kingstown Chorale Group in April 1956, and 50th Anniversary celebrations were just concluded by the Group in December 2006.

The Chorale, which comprises 35 members, is the leading mixed choir in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The Group will perform under the baton of Musical Director Jeanne Horne and will be managed by Gillian John.
