A right leg belonging to a human washed up on Mt Grennan Bay on Thursday, December 28,2006 and has police engulfed in extensive investigations.

According to police, a resident of the area discovered the leg among some garbage that had washed ashore at around 7 am. The matter was then reported to the police.{{more}}

They said that they would be carrying out DNA tests which would be matched against the DNA of people who have lost their life at sea.

Police further stated that there was no pigmentation to determine the ethnicity of the person. The foot is now at the Kingstown Mortuary.
