Holder is winner of KCCU X-mas Xtravaganza draw
New year means having new things and for Lorne Holder that was watching a brand new and modernised flat screen 20-inch television and a LG DVD player in great style and comfort.
The Enhams resident was the lucky winner of the Kingstown Co-operative Credit Union X-mas Xtravaganza draw that took place on December 22.{{more}}
Being a member of the credit union for the past five years he described the service offered as excellent and commended the KCCU for having a reliable staff. For him, withdrawing from the credit union is not an option. âWhere there is progress I love to associate with the progress,â he told Searchlight.
The second place winner was Shakila Cupid of North Union who walked away with the stereo player while Noel Layne who is formerly of Georgetown but is living in Rillan is the third place winner therefore receiving the microwave.
Ranold Medford, Yvonne Bonadie and Grenville Williams were the three consolation winners.
According to Marcelle Alexander the head of the credit division, the promotion ran from November 13 to December 21 and was opened to persons who took loans during that period.
âWe were also flexible towards the fact that persons have to become members of the credit union for six months and allowed them to pay added shares to qualify for the draw,â she added.
There was a total of 400 persons participating in the promotion.
