Anglicans launch new women’s group

The Diocese of the Windward Islands will be introducing a New Church Organisation called the Anglican Church Women Association (ACWA) at a meeting on Saturday November 25 at the Anglican Pastoral Centre at 10:00 a.m.

The aim of ACWA will be to provide women with an opportunity to discover and live the meaning of their baptism in Christ. Membership shall be open to all women aged 25 and over who

are confirmed members of the Anglican Church and are regular Communicants.

The facilitator at this meeting will be Rosena Brooks, wife of the Bishop of the Diocese of North Eastern Caribbean and Aruba.

His Lordship Leopold Friday, Bishop of the Windward Islands will deliver the opening remarks.
