Shekeema gets RBTT scholarship

RBTT Bank Limited has awarded its 2006 Secondary School Scholarship for disadvantaged students. Shekeema Humphrey, 11-years-old, of Lauders is this year’s recipient. Shekeema, a past student of the Lauders Primary School placed 225 overall and 131 among girls in this year’s Common Entrance Examinations and will be attending the Thomas Saunders Secondary School.{{more}}

The annual award of the RBTT scholarship is another of the bank’s contribution to youth development and education in St Vincent and the Grenadines. It is awarded to a less fortunate child from the rural areas who excels in the Common Entrance Examinations.

The scholarship is for a period of five years and will cover the cost of books, uniform, travel, and lunch.

Shekeema is the 17th recipient since it was inaugurated in 1989.
