Kagbala outfits bank staff with African wear for Emancipation

For the past nine years with the exception of the year 2005, members of staff of the State owned National Commercial Bank (SVG) Ltd wore colourful, comfortable African inspired outfits for work during Emancipation Month as part of the Activities which are organized by the Ministry of Culture. The outfits are provided by Ebika Kagbala of Authentic Africana Fashions.

On Friday, August 18, 2006 customers were treated to a display of style and colour and staff were excited to present themselves in this refreshing way.

The Bank will again come alive with colour and style today.

A release from the bank states that they “believe that this adds to the atmosphere of the theme “Understanding Our Past-Shaping Our Future” and builds awareness and consciousness of our rich heritage, culture and history.”
