C&W offering back to school specials

With just a few weeks of summer remaining many parents and children are preparing for the new academic year.

But these are deals with a difference. In support of it’s commitment to bridge the digital divide, Cable & Wireless is offering free activation and installation and a modem for $49 for those signing up for Xnet high speed internet before September 15. For those without a computer or who would like a second computer dedicated for use by the children, Cable & Wireless is offering the Dell Inspiron 1300 Laptop for just $2,199.

In addition to the special Internet offer, bmobile has great handset deals to ease the transition from vacation to term time. Though the use of mobile phones in school is not allowed, any parent charged with the task of transporting children to and from school and their other extra-curricula activities will know the value of the mobile phone once the school day has ended. There are special prices on two handsets the Nokia 1110 at $99 and the Motorola C139 for $99.

As an added bonus, a free Back to School gift pack will be given to all customers who sign up for Xnet, purchase a featured handset, or purchase the Dell laptop.
