SVG Horticultural Society to host Vegetable Home Garden Competition
The SVG Horticultural Society, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, will be hosting a Vegetable Home Garden Competition for all interested homeowners.
The competition is open to all who have a garden established around their homes. The garden may comprise vegetables, herbs and or fruit trees, ornamental flowering and foliage plants, established in pots, small beds, tires or any other types of planting methods available.{{more}} In addition, the use of pen manure, composting of kitchen waste, use of recycled rain water for irrigation and the inclusion of an animal/livestock component will be an asset.
