Of the 25 years of diplomatic ties between Taiwan and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the NDP has enjoyed 17 of those years.
“We have had the longest relationship with the Taiwanese. We had the longest stretch with them,” Eustace pointed out describing the friendship as being “very special”.
Eustace mentioned that Vincentians are seeing more visibly the assistance that Taiwan has been giving over the years than what the countries we have enjoyed traditional relations have made.
The Opposition Leader explained that over the years the Taiwanese diplomats have made the diplomatic relations a personal one.
Eustace said the NDP wishes the people of Taiwan and St. Vincent and the Grenadines well on the 25th anniversary of bilateral relations.
