Bajan choir to perform at Cathedral

The St. John’s Church Augmented Choir from Barbados will host a Sacred Concert at the St. George’s Anglican Cathedral on Sunday, August 6, 2006 at 6 p.m.

The Choir consists of 30 members from the St. John’s Parish Church and the Holy Cross Church in Barbados.

The programme will include favourite selections from Bach, Handel and Schubert along with many Negro Spirituals. There will also be vocal and instrumental solos and duets.

Part of the proceeds from this Concert will go towards the St. George’s Cathedral Organ Fund.
