Brittney excited

Brittney Drayton is “excited” over her performance at the recent Common Entrance examination. And she has every right to feel that way.

She has brought a degree of pride and satisfaction to her parents Virgil Henry and Ricardo Drayton, and the staff and students of the Georgetown Government.{{more}}

She placed third for girls and fifth overall, a position she shared with Gineal Joseph of the Kingstown Preparatory School.

Brittney had the highest grade of 95% in General Paper of the 2,702 students who wrote the exam, 92 % in Maths and 85 % for English.

She enjoys reading and represented her school in several quizzes and reading competitions. She also won a Public Speaking Competition held at her institution. Brittney has plans of becoming an Archaeologist. Her attraction to that field came “from listening to the news, and hearing of important discoveries.”

Brittney paid tribute to her class teachers and especially her Mum.
