Sylvester receives international leadership award
In a press release issued on Monday, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Human Rights Association congratulated its President, Nicole Sylvester on being the recipient of an award on International Leadership, Governance and Human Rights from the United States Government.
Sylvester left the State on Tuesday 13th June, 2006 on the invitation of the United States Government to visit a number of cities, including Washington D.C., Arizona, Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco and Minnesota.{{more}}
This prestigious award would include meetings with Government Officials, Judges of the Supreme Court, Prison and Police Officials and other Human Rights Organisations.
There are two persons representing the region – Nicole Sylvester from St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the other recipient from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
