Charles offering alternative

Tomorrow Saturday June 17 provides an alternative. That is to the degradation and immorality that is rampant in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The person behind the event is Minister Anita Charles. From about one o’clock, there will be a procession from Calliaqua, about five miles north east of Capital City Kingstown.{{more}}

Three trucks will be strategically placed among vehicles and the focus will be on songs produced by Charles. She has an album called ‘Chistianise the culture,’ and the Minister, who has been singing for most of her life, is answering a call. She hopes that “people will experience the presence and power of God.”

Tomorrow’s action will be two-fold. Before the motorcade reaches Victoria Park, children will be engaged in a talent display at Victoria Park, “I need to give the children a voice,” Charles outlined.

When the entourage arrives at the Park, the programme will gather intensity. Charles is from the West St. George district of Gomea. She has been in the United Sates for some time. She was home last year with a trial run of that crusade. This year it will be a little bigger.

For Charles the event is a “form of proclamation and demonstration in quest to advance righteousness.”
