NEMO exhibition to start Hurricane season

June 1, 2006 marked the official start of the Hurricane season and officials at the National Emergency Management Office (NEMO) held an exhibition last Friday in Kingstown to make the public aware of some of the safety precautions should be taken during the season. Training Officer at NEMO, Houlda Peters, said that they are trying to sensitize the public about disaster preparedness and show them what they need to do in the event of a Hurricane.
