Methodists hosting rally to honour founding fathers

Hundreds of Methodists and friends of the Methodist community are expected to attend the Aldersgate Rally (the annual celebration to mark

the conversion of the founding fathers of Methodism), which takes place on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at the Calliaqua Methodist Church at 4:00 p.m.

A procession of witness will meet at the Calliaqua Clinic at 3:30 p.m. and proceed to the Calliaqua Church. Congregations are asked to bring along their banners and assemble at the Clinic by 3:20 p.m.

Rev. Adrian Odle, superintendent minister of the Georgetown/Mt. Coke circuit, will address the rally on the theme, “Sharing our Faith in a Complex World”. All are invited to attend.
