Leo Club embarks on bus shed project

Two weeks after the historic Leo Convention hosted here by local Leo Clubs, 13 members of the local Leo Clubs completed Phase 2 of the Chateaubelair bus shed enhancement project.

The young LEOs upon arrival, quickly surveyed the job to be done, and began cleaning the debris from in and around the bus shed in preparation to repaint the bus shed. {{more}}Two hours later the project was completed and the LEOs made their way to Beach Front Restaurant and Bar where they rested and re-energized themselves before going to make a donation of a food basket to Neville Badenock, a visually impaired resident of the area.

A quantity of batteries donated by the LEO Club of Dominica was also given to the Chateaubelair Hospital.

The Clubs also showed appreciation to the Manager of Beach Front Restaurant and Bar, Esron Thompson, by presenting him with a plaque, for his overwhelming assistance in making the recently held convention a success.
