More support for Literacy Crusade

Dr. Jaylene Summers, an Adult Educator from Maine U.S.A. currently on vacation in Bequia, presented a number of items on Thursday March 23, 2006 to the Bequia Literacy Programme.

Dr. Summers delivered one printer, five Scientific Calculators and a quantity of reading material to the programme Coordinator for Bequia Terah Smith.

Dr. Summers was involved in the training of 14 Facilitators in Bequia, in March 2005, and developed a keen interest in the Bequia, Literacy Programme. To that end, Dr. Summers and her friends created the Bequia outreach project with Dr. Summers herself as chairperson.
