Local Leo Clubs to Host Convention

The members of Leo Clubs St. Vincent and St. Vincent West will be hosting a Leo Convention to be held here on March 24th-26th, 2006. {{more}}

Over 70 delegates from Regions 2 and 3, including islands from Grenada through to St. Marteen, are expected to attend this event.

As part of this 3-day convention, Leos in collaboration with the various Lions Clubs will be conducting projects in Chateaubelair which will include: repainting and decorating of a bus shed, a beach clean-up and a donation to the hospital. These projects will all be made possible through Leos and Lions throughout the Caribbean, as well as sponsorship from local business houses.

The Leo Club is the youth arm of the Lions Club, which targets individuals between the ages of 18 and 28, with the purpose of ensuring that they build themselves into better individuals by engaging in community-based projects to better occupy their spare time.
