The East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC) announced on Wednesday that they, in collaboration with the SVG Home Economics Association and the Ministry of Education are inviting students across St. Vincent and the Grenadines to participate in the 2006 ECGC Home Economics Food Competition.

The competition will be held here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from Friday, February 24 to Friday, March 24. It is designed to utilize the creativity of students to create greater linkages between industry and education and highlight possible career paths in Home Economics.

Students will be required to use local products including rice, flour and pulses.
