Two survive serious crash
St.Vincent and the Grenadines could have recorded its sixth and/ or seventh road fatality on Sunday night.
And the calls for motorists to exercise due care and attention are intensifying. {{more}}
Motor vehicle P8268 driven by Vasouz Ferdinand of South Rivers crashed into a wall at Browne’s Town, Georgetown just after 10 p.m.
The driver and a male passenger are lucky to have walked away from such a crash. (See picture above). They however both sustained serious injuries.
Since the year started there have been five road fatalities.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, at a press conference on Monday, February 6, said while Vincentians should feel happy that there were no murders during the month of January, it is lamentable that there have been five deaths as a result of road accidents.
He appealed to all motorists to be cautious on the roads.
