NCCP lectures students on crime prevention

Last week, the National Commission on Crime Prevention (NCCP) in collaboration with the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) continued to implement its Operational Plan by visiting various schools throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The schools that were visited included the Park Hill Government School, South Rivers Methodist School, Troumaca Government School and the Kingstown Multipurpose Centre.{{more}}

The students were lectured on the current crime situation in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and were given tips on Crime Prevention and Detection.

The NCCP is also concerned about the violent crimes that are taking place at Heritage Square and appealed to the children and the young persons to desist from using drugs and alcohol.

Parents were asked to take responsibility for their children and vendors were also asked not to sell alcohol to young persons.

The NCCP will be visiting the Lodge Village Multipurpose Centre on Wednesday, February 8 and the Leeward District Seventh Day Adventist School on Thursday, February 9.
