Ex-biker cautions young riders

Baynes was known for stunt riding in St. Vincent and the Grenadines during the 50s and 60s. He performed during carnival shows and on the streets of Kingstown riding his motorbike backwards through fire. He retired from bike riding but his passion for motorbikes remains. His word of caution to young riders is that they must be vigilant and ride safely.

He is now an amputee having lost one (1) leg less than one (1) year ago.

The Cool Riderz Club recognized the need for a wheelchair as mobility was difficult for him.

The chair was donated by Square Deal Shippers and the presentation witnessed by members of the Baynes’ family and immediate Past President of the St. Lucia Motorcycle Club, Wayne Quinton.
