Crispin gives back to the community

The Evesham Methodist School held a handing over ceremony on Friday, January 20, 2006, as part of the school’s efforts to encourage partnership with the community.

Manager and owner of Crispin Taxi Service, Crispin Charles (at left in picture), handed over a sign indicating his commitment to maintaining the school’s garden.{{more}}

During the ceremony, Charles encouraged the children to take care of the plants to enable them to grow. He also encouraged them to take care of themselves by being obedient, careful in their lessons and keeping themselves well so that like plants, they too can grow up to be worthwhile citizens who will one day be able to give back to their community.

Principal Morine Williams (3rd from right in picture) said that the garden would teach the children four things: to acquire knowledge about plants, discipline, responsibility and appreciation of nature.
