Thompson home receives donation

Residents of the Thompson Home now have additional equipment to assist their mobility. Last Wednesday, the Soroptimist International donated two wheel chairs and a walker to the Thompson home at Richmond Hill.{{more}}

President of the Soroptimist International, Zita Hadaway noted that she is always willing to lend a helping hand and she is quite pleased to hand over the devices to senior citizens.

Past president Annelle Thomas said that she is very much grateful for the wheel chairs and walker, citing that it will help the patrons that are less mobile at the home.

The home has been in existence for the past 106 years and presently has a full house of eighteen residents.
