“I am overwhelmed. I did not expect this, totally,” said Chu.

Chu, who would be leaving St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the end of the month, said the plaque ceremony is another expression of how Vincentians, the Republic of China on Taiwan and herself interacted during her time as ambassador.

She said she was keen on helping the Rotary Club of St.Vincent because it upheld the values of Rotary Club and more so in her country, Rotary Club has a strong representation.

The ceremony was witnessed by Past President of the Rotary Club of St. Vincent, Dr. Colin Boyle and Simeon Norton, Rotary Club of St.Vincent Secretary.

Ambassador Jack Chen will replace Chu.
