Airline worker

Trinidadian Marsha Ann-Marie Thersea Coward, 27, will appear in a Barbados court today on drug charges.

Coward, an airline worker living in Baltimore, United States, arrived in Barbados on Saturday around 12:30 p.m. at Grantley Adams International Airport, in transit to the United States from Union Island, St Vincent.

Eight packages of cocaine weighing a total of 4.4 kilos were reported to have an estimated street value of $132 000.

She was charged with importation, trafficking, possession and possession with intent to supply.
