Andrea’s dreams come true with lottery win

Andrea King, a secretary from the East St. George village of Fair Hall, has some money to take care of her bills.

She dreamt up the numbers 07, 14, 15, 22, 27 and 28, and when the Super Six Lottery draw was made September 27, 2005, King’s numbers surfaced. {{more}}For her presentiment, she received a cheque of $377,496 last Wednesday morning. The money was handed over by Vincentian Lottery Manager McGregor Sealey witnessed by Chairman Murray Bullock.

King will have to make the mandatory 10 percent tax deduction stipulated by the government.

A quiet, soft-spoken individual, King declared her intention to “pay some bills” with her recent winnings. That was the first time that she was playing the Super Six.

That game started throughout the Windward Islands November 4, 2004. There have been four winners so far, but this is the first Vincentian to share the spoils.
