Special support was provided to the club by District Nurse Monique Bailey. Miss Hulda Waterstone, a 94 year old resident of Choppins, was the proud recipient of a food basket for this month.

The Club’s Independence activities will commence on Sunday 23rd October with a church service at the Kingstown Evangelical Church.

This will mark the official launch of the club.

Visitors from the region as well as from USA, Martinique and Guadeloupe will begin arriving in the state from Wednesday 26th October, 2005.

Approximately 200 riders and supporters will converge in the country for the activities. The major event, the Motorcross, will take place on Sunday 30th at Pembroke. There are cash prizes and trophies to be won.

The motorcross will be an annual event; it is envisioned that SVG will be the venue of choice for the event in the region.
