NIS Director, Reginald Thomas, stressed that the institution would not stop at ensuring that the education process continues.

Dr. Frank Alleyne, Dean of Social Services at the UWI, Cave Hill said the book was attractive to the young reader as the visual techniques helped the message to be transmitted without becoming a bore. He also praised the book for having interactive techniques making it easier to learn.

And Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Dr.Ralph Gonsalves assured the gathering that the NIS was in a sound actual and financial condition with a reserve of EC$244 million, which was sufficient to support the NIS for just over a decade.
