The new Foreign Affairs Minister said this country needed to deepen its relationship with Cuba and to realize this dream a full embassy will be established.
Browne challenged the New Democratic Party side of the House that he would be winning his seat in the next General Elections because they cannot find anyone to run against him.
Meanwhile, Browne openly criticized Leader of the Opposition, Arnhim Eustace calling him the source that leaked information to a local newspaper that he did not comment at the meeting of Heads of Parliamentary Opposition recently in St.Lucia.
âThe leader of the Opposition seems dumbfounded over there,â said Browne noting the newspaper âcould get into troubleâ.
Browne said he wanted to clear up the distortion in the newspaper, which he described as mischief.
The Minister said at the meeting he stood and expressed satisfaction with the agreement to establish a committee of Heads of Parliamentary Opposition.
He said at the same meeting, Eustace who was present indicated that he would not be Opposition Leader for long. Browne said he instantly challenged Eustace on this point and stated openly the Unity Labour Party will be winning the elections.
