Alexander on Dean’s list at St. Francis College

Leonis R. Alexander a former student of the Girls’ High School and the Sixth Form of the St. Vincent Grammar School is at present studying at St. Francis College, Brooklyn Heights, New York. {{more}}

For the past three years she achieved a high degree of excellence in her academic work and each year was placed on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence.

This year she was elected to the Duns Scotus Honour Society. Election to Duns Scotus is the highest that can be conferred on a student at St. Francis College. It recognises scholarship and service to the College and upholds the ideals of St. Francis and Blessed John Dun Scotus.

Leonis was once the Headgirl at the Girls’ High School. She did intensive work at the Ministry of Agriculture and produced Vincie Nature Notes in order to inform Vincentians on how to protect our parrots.
