At exactly 12 noon on Wednesday, April 20, students of schools in the Richmond Hill area were greeted by what seemed to be a celestial occurrence as they filed out of their classes to go for lunch.{{more}}

A rare phenomenon was unfolding before their eyes. As the word spread of the strange sky-high spectacle students flocked the lawns to catch a glimpse of this unusual ‘eye’ that had placed itself overhead.

Students could be seen staring at the mid-day sky through any type of tint they could get their hands on.

But alas, all jubilation abruptly came to an end as students reluctantly left to resume their afternoon sessions.
