SEDU in for a name change

Prospective business persons and those seeking connections to their ventures, or even those looking for information on spheres of economic activity will have to get accustomed to the Centre for Enterprise Development.

This is a change in name of the entity originally known as Small Enterprise Development Unit (SEDU). {{more}}

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves signalled the intention to establish the new entity last week.

With the name change, the Centre for Enterprise Development will acquire additional responsibilities.

The focus will still be on small businesses but according to Prime Minister Dr. Gonsalves, it will “enlarge emphasis to embrace medium size businesses.”
