The Roberts Pet Food Canine Showcase 2004 held Saturday last at the Arnos Vales Sporting Complex brought out a lively group of dogs and their owners. {{more}}

The judges must have had a difficult time though at the end deciding the largest dog would not have been very difficult.

The most exciting part of the evening was the aggression tests which saw several pitbulls challenging the trainer with serious attacks while others simply cowered away much to the amusement of the crowd and the embarrasment of their owners.

The most impressive section of the show, though, was the obedience which demonstrated just how in touch many of the owners are with their dogs. That category was won by Keevin Miller’s mixed breed Ruff.
