Rotaract Club Kingstown to host Spelling B finals

The Rotaract Club of Kingstown holds its annual Primary School Spelling B Competition Finals at the Methodist Hall tomorrow Saturday, November 20, 2004, at the Methodist Church Hall.

The Club sees this effort as continuing its effort to eradicate illiteracy among our young people and encourage reading and spelling among our youths. {{more}}

The competition, which had participants from Windward, Leeward and Grenadines schools competing for positions in the finals, will be held in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.

The finalists are: Biabou Methodist: Shameika Duncan and Zaneisha Charles; Bequia Anglican Primary: Brittany Straker and Donnicka James; Bucca-ment Government Dubois: Ashanda Soso and Joy-Ann Butcher; Chateaubelair Methodist: Shantell Harry and Dalcia Coombs; New Grounds Primary: Kemuel Walters and Shanique Maloney; Questelles Government: Alshieka Williams and Veronique Jack; Richmond Hill Government: Learie Barry, Jr. and Cindy Harry; Sandy Bay Anglican: Kenroy Williams and Symorn Roberts; Stubbs Government: Jo-Ann Grant and Sinitha Simmons.
